Job Description:
Summary The Robot Programmer uses technical expertise and
knowledge of computer simulation technologies to:Configure Robot
Controller Simulation (RCS) in the simulation softwareDevelop
complete robot programs with multiple robot brands (Comau, Kuka,
ABB, Fanuc...).Verify the feasibility of solutions and processes.
Find and solve issues before the manufacturing phase.Validate the
cycle time of each station/line. Optimize robot programs and find
solutions in case of cycle time issues.Support Site team during
commissioning phaseFrom small-medium projects to the most complex
projects, Robot Programming allows the company to save time and cut
down on commissioning costs massively. Simulations done by the
Robot Programmer allow to truly verify in details the feasibility
of a solution without the necessity to manufacture anything and
precisely evaluate the cycle time. Duties and
Responsibilities(these are the positions essential duties and is
not an all inclusive list) Main areas of responsibilities
are:Develop robot programs using teach pendant of the major robot
brandsDownload a complete offline robot programConfigure Robot
Controller Simulation (RCS) in the simulation softwareOperate with
Siemens packages (Robcad, Process Simulate)Operate with Dassault
Systemes packages (DELMIA)Operate with Robot brand specific
software (ABB RobotStudio, Kuka WorkVisual...)Validate solutions
and processes with detailed simulationValidate the cycle
feasibility defined in the cycle diagramsOptimize weld distribution
to improve the cycle timeGenerate a precise evaluation of the cycle
time through a detailed cycle simulation Generate robot safety
configurations. Ensure compliance with safety and ergonomics
regulations.Develop robot signal logic with Software and Virtual
Commissioning teamSupport Virtual Commissioning team during debug
phaseSupport site team during commissioning phaseCustomer support
and specification analysisDesign reviews with customersDesign
reviews with Project Engineer and project teamDevelop technical
documentationManage Industrial processes and robotic application
for automation projects Library maintenance, simulation models
(Robot / Fittings / External axes / tool changers / slides /
dressing ....)Knowledge sharingContinuous skill improvement and
learning new working methodsSupport Robotics R&D and analysis
of new robot controller versionsSupport System Standard department
