The strategic combination of Tenneco's Ride Performance business with Federal-Mogul's Motorparts business will establish a global aftermarket leader with an impressive portfolio of some of the strongest brands in the aftermarket including Monroe, Walker, Wagner, Champion, Fel-Pro and MOOG. The company's broader aftermarket product coverage, stronger distribution channels, and enhanced channel development will strengthen its position in established and high growth markets (China and India), and drive success through new mobility models and capturing evolving e-commerce opportunities. We are looking for an IT Project Manager who will be responsible for executing large complex projects across regions or domains, and involving new technology. Key responsibilities include managing project scope, budget, project board, resources, schedule, risk, and organizational change management activities. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develops and maintains project plans including work breakdown structures, project milestones, critical path analyses, risk assessment and management plans, cost / benefit analyses, staffing plans, project timelines, and project budgets. * Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes the progress of projects. * Builds and maintains positive working relationships with team members, vendors, and other Tenneco departments involved in their projects. * Escalates project issues to PMO or resource managers as appropriate. * Prepares project status reports for upper management. * Ensures project milestones are met on time and within team and project budgets. * Utilizes project management methodology to direct and lead team deliverable development. * Drives decisions to ensure the success of projects taking into account timing, risk, functional requirements, and business benefits. Required Experience EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or related field. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: * 10 years of experience as a Project Manager managing complex projects ranging from mid-size to large corporate IT initiatives in a complex international organization. * Proficiency in project management methodology, project planning tools and techniques; Waterfall methodology required and Agile methodology experience preferred. * Proficiency in Project Planning - ability to work with a project team to create a detailed project plan and resource plan from rough order of magnitude documentation. * Multiple, full life cycle implementations of SAP or an ERP Package as Project Manager within plant manufacturing, distribution center, or customer service/order management. * Multiple full life cycle implementations of 3rd Party applications. * Proficiency in MS Project / Excel / Word and PowerPoint are required. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to interface and influence at multiple organizational levels. * Excellent relationship-building and networking skills.
