Position Summary

The Ancillary Systems Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support for Suns point of sale (POS) and inventory management systems in which purchasing and inventory is maintained. This position provides business process, software, technical and operational support services for Suns internal operations team members who interact with Sun's POS application. Ultimately, this position plays a significant role in maintaining a well-organized purchasing and inventory process, while ensuring that team members are trained to most effectively utilize the system.

Duties



  • Contributes to the creation and maintenance of process documents and how to guides in Knowledge Base.
  • Communicates ancillary department updates in a clear and concise manner to field operations team members by various means of communication including email updates and use of Sun's intranet, Knowledge Base.
  • Reviews and audits data inputted in POS system(s) by field operations to ensure accuracy. Communicates to team members when corrections need to be made with proper follow through.
  • Provides administrative support to field operations in relation to Suns POS and inventory management system(s), in which item data, purchasing and inventory data is inputted.
  • Acts as a first level support for Suns ancillary system(s) by answering questions and correcting internal errors as system rolls out to the field. Responsible for communicating escalated concerns and questions to appropriate parties when necessary.
  • Completes random audits in Sun's ancillary system(s) to ensure proper input of all system data by field team members. Communicates errors to team members in a clear and concise way to ensure corrections are made.
  • Reviews training procedures, maintains training documentation and partners with the Learning & Development team to ensure information is available in Knowledge Base.
  • Fields resident and community calls and e-mail correspondence in relation to Suns ancillary systems.
  • Prepares, prints and/or exports various spreadsheets and reports as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements



    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 1 year in finance, accounting or equivalent education and skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong analytical and accounting experience preferred
    • Ability to learn and comprehend new systems and communicate that knowledge to other team members
    • Strong attention to detail, organizational and multitasking skills
    • Ability to work well with others inside as well as outside the company
    • Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency with the ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite, email, internet, and provide data entry in a timely and efficient manner
