Job Description:
Benefits Administrator Job DescriptionWe are looking for a
detail oriented benefits administrator to be responsible for the
administration of our employee benefits programs. The benefits
administrator position is responsible for directing and planning
the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs such as group
health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life
insurance, health spending account, flexible spending plan,
retirement plans, etc.). This position requires excellent customer
service, efficiency and the ability to maintain strict
confidentiality. -Benefits Administrator Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily benefits processing,
including eligibility, enrollments, changes, COBRA and
terminations. -
Advise and inform employees of the
details of the company's benefit programs.Maintain and update
employee records and benefits files.Resolve benefit-related issues
and respond to queries and requests in a timely manner.Coordinate
transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and
plan administration. Document and maintain administrative
procedures for assigned benefits processes. -Perform periodic plan
audits to ensure accuracy of data and benefits enrollment. Ensure
compliance with applicable government regulations. -Gather employee
data and oversee the processing of monthly billings and the
preparation of vouchers for payment of administrative fees for all
group plans. - -
Analyze current benefits, evaluating
the use, services, coverage, effectiveness, cost, plan experience
and competitive trends in benefits programs. -Required
Skills/Abilities:
Solid understanding of different
benefit plans such as health, dental, vision, short term and long
term disability, health savings accounts, flexible spending plans,
retirement plans, etc.)--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Computer
proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use
Microsoft products, including PowerPoint; experience with HRIS and
benefits databases.--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Project management
skills and experience.
Understanding of data recording and
analysis--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Proven ability to work
effectively in a team environment with associates. --- - - - - - -
- - - - - - Effective planning and priority setting. Ability to
manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under
pressure to meet deadlines.--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Strong
analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs. --- - -

attention to detail -
Strong communication and
interpersonal skills.--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Knowledge of all
pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance
requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits
programs, including the ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125,
workers' compensation, Medicare, and Social Security and DOL
requirements. -Education and Experience:--- - - - - - - - - - - - -
Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field,
and/or three to five years of related benefits or employee benefits
administration experience. - -Physical Requirements: --- - - - - -
