Job Summary: The Provider Enrollment (PE) Representative II is
responsible for the timely and successful submission and completion
of government and commercial insurance enrollment paperwork for
assigned physician groups and providers so revenue collection is
not delayed.
Position reports to: Director of Provider Enrollment or another
Supervisory role
Responsibilities:
* Ensure all insurance applications are up to date and accurately
completed in a timely manner to minimize loss of revenue due to
delayed enrollments.
* Assist providers with completion of the application, routinely
follow up with insurance carriers to monitor the status of
applications and resolve issues.
* Enter physician data into credentialing/billing system
* CAHQ maintenance and attestations every 120 days, ensuring
information is up to date and accurate
* Achieve monthly quality and productivity standards
* Compliance with R1 policies
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* 0-2 years of experience in provider enrollment, contracting or
insurance
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job
functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state
and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or
quantitative productivity standards
Skills/ Knowledge Requirements:
* Strong organizational skills and an ability to work with minimum
supervision
* Ability to communicate in the English language clearly and
concisely, both in writing and on the phone
* Project a professional and helpful attitude
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, and general
office skills
