complex challenges.About the Position: The Account Reconciliation
Specialist will be responsible for performing routine analysis to
resolve unapplied cash, price and quantity discrepancies, and other
anomalies. The Account Reconciliation Specialist will work with
various groups to identify root causes and propose solutions to
avoid reoccurring errors. This role will develop daily, weekly, and
monthly reports as needed, while performing other projects related
to work as needed. Duties Include:
- Reconciliation of payments if needed to ensure correct cash
applications
- Investigate exceptions in cash received to ensure payments are
allocated to correct invoices
- Work closely with Credit and Collections Manager and/or
internal and external customers on resolving existing on account
payments
- Review payment information from customers to improve cash
application process
- Prepare dashboard reporting as needed
- Investigate quantity discrepancies and work with appropriate
parties to resolve
- Investigate price discrepancies and work with customers and
internal teams to resolve
- Additional duties and projects as assignedQualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred; 5+
years of experience in similar role in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of related experience required
- Demonstrated ability to carry out assignments to their
completion and meet deadlines
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working
relationships with employees and managers
- Ability to handle heavy workload and work well under
pressure
- Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks while working in
a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office/Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
required
- Advanced Power BI skills a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with BPCS/AS400 operating system a plus
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
