- Providence Hospital Location
- Full-time shift M-F and ability to cover when needed
- LMSW with Emergency Department experience required
What You Will Do:
Supervise the behavioral health
What You Will Need:
- Determine, coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments
and staffing levels.
- Train, coach, and evaluate assigned staff on performance
expectations. Apply progressive discipline when appropriate.
Participate in hiring and termination procedures.
- Coordinate patient care with other members of the healthcare
team to ensure the achievement of desired outcomes.
- Participate in direct delivery of care depending on patient
census. Complete patient evaluations and treatments as needed.
- Direct, oversee, coordinate, and control the admission,
customer service representatives, and case management departments
in accordance with the established policies and procedures and in
compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; regulatory
agencies; and third-party payers.
Licensure / Certification /
- One or more of the following required:
- Licensed Master Social Worker credentialed from the Michigan
Board of Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer
date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
- Licensed Counselor credentialed from the Michigan Board of
Counseling obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Verified by local Credentialing Office.
- Licensed Psychologist credentialed from the Michigan Board of
Psychology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Verified by local Credentialing Office.
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or
Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
- 1 year of experience required.
