As a member of the E-Systems team, the Senior Hardware Engineer will be responsible for

* Lead Hardware engineer for Automotive body control electronic systems. * Drive execution of Lear's design process compliance, support industry electronic standards and Functional Safety (ISO 26262) * Focus on customer support/partnership from program kickoff to service

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

* Coordinate with cross functional teams to evaluate, design, implement and integrate customer requirements. * Assist team in modifying/implementing product design * Investigate and follow up on customer development/field complaints * Manage daily activities of the Lear hardware development process and deliverables * Communicate with internal team and customer project design status and plan

The Hour by Hour Task Breakdown with percentages:

* Product Design, Development and Analysis (60%) * Customer and Peer meetings to resolve open issues (20%) * Support Customer change notices (10%) * Support quoting of new business (10%)

Your Qualifications:

* BSEE, with 6+ years of electrical design experience * Knowledge of low voltage automotive design experience * Standard Engineering development tools such as Worst-Case Analysis, DFMEA, Test specification development, etc * Working experience with Oscilloscopes, Signal Generator, Network Analyzer, data logger, etc * Excellent problem solving skills with experience using tools such as Fishbone Diagram, Is/Is Not, 5 whys, FMEA, etc * Passion for relentlessly working with engineering teams to solve complex technical problems * Experience with Automotive Environmental/EMC testing * Fluent in English
