Job Description:
Our client - a growing construction company in the Midwest - is
looking for a Cost Estimator in their Southfield office.This
position is responsible for estimating costs for ground-up, steel
construction projects from bid to closeout. This is a direct-hire
full-time opportunity, and the opportunity to get on the ground
floor of a growing company.Job Requirements:* Support various cost
estimating reports* Establishing cost estimates for all projects *
Developing cost estimates for components/assemblies* Develop and
maintain cost estimating database* Prepare or review cost estimates
for projects* Establish tooling and part cost estimates* Prepare
cost and work completion estimates for projects* Support cost
estimating team with daily needs* Prepare detailed cost estimates
for all types of projects* Provide cost impacts for engineering*
Assess cost competitiveness and identify cost-reduction
opportunities* Prepare cost estimates and price quotations on new
work and coordinate the preparation of cost estimates on project
continuations* Prepare cost estimates by analyzing prints and
requirements
