Functional Area:SC - Sales Commission Estimated Travel Percentage (%): Up to 25% Relocation Provided: No VARIABLE ANNUITY LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY INC Job Responsibilities/Duties: - Work with the advisor team in developing and implementing District Life Insurance business plans that achieve and exceed sales targets for your District - Work with established Books of business from our Financial Advisors in order to provide our clients with solutions for their Risk Management Portfolio - Conduct Joint Appointments with Financial Advisors and their clients - Serve as the initial contact for problem resolution - Research and/or elevate issues to solve problems - Must have superb people skills in building relationships Job Requirements: The Ideal Candidate Should Have: - Active FINRA Series 6 or 7 license and Series 63 and 65, or 66 license(s) - Active state variable life and health license - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience conducting point of sale life insurance sales required - Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations - Demonstrated and documented sales proficiency in all types of Life Insurance and LTC sales - Expert knowledge of Life Insurance, (Life products- term, UL, VUL, IUL,) - Experience in Advanced Sales concepts and Estate Planning to include Trusts and ILITS - Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university is preferred - Ability to travel throughout the territory What we offer: - Competitive benefits package with immediate access to medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401(k) plan with match - Marketing support including mailings, email blasts and customized flyers - Support from the District and Regional Offices and Wholesalers - Flexibility to create your own schedule - Coaching from District Vice President - Company-provided technology, including equipment, helpdesk assistance, client management and financial planning tools - Tuition Reimbursement program for your career development - Company-paid E & O, licensing fees, continuing education and compliance support VALIC Overview The Variable Annuity Life Insurance Company ( VALIC ) and VALIC Financial Advisors, Inc., subsidiaries of AIG, is an insurance, retirement and financial planning company that services clients in the not for profit, as well as the for-profit sectors.
