Job Description:
Large Southfield personal injury law firm has an immediate
opening for a Legal Assistant. Our Firm has been handling personal
injury, auto PIP, and medical malpractice claims for more than 50
years. Must have good organization and interpersonal skills along
with knowledge of personal injury litigation and/or medical
malpractice, docket management, e-filing, discovery; creating legal
documents including subpoenas, motions, summonses, pleadings;
scheduling depositions, retrieval of medical records from doctors,
communicating with clients and other attorneys' offices, and
knowledge of Microsoft Office. Transcription skills are a must.
