Sterile Processing Tech Location: Detroit, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,137 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Central Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Certified Sterile Processor Specialty: - Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Afternoon Hours per Shift: 8 hours (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) Experience: Minimum 5 years required License: - Certifications: NICHSPDP Certification required Must-Have: - Punctuality - Ability to read, write, add, subtract, and read temperature gauges Description: The Central Sterile Processing Technician provides sterile products and instruments to all members of the healthcare team. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent education. Completion of an appropriate Aide training program or a Central Technician program is required. Alternatively, 6 months of previous experience in Central Supply is acceptable. The technician must have the NICHSPDP Certification as a qualification for this position. Punctuality and good communication skills are essential. Candidates should be prepared for an over-the-phone interview. The first day includes a day shift for badge and access processing.
