Job Description:
Civista Bank, a prestigious and community-minded financial
institution, is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy EFT
(Electronic Funds Transfer) Support Specialist to join our IT
department. This role is critical in ensuring the secure,
efficient, and accurate processing of electronic transactions which
include direct deposits, automated payments, and wire transfers. As
an EFT Support Specialist at Civista Bank, you will play an
integral role in maintaining and enhancing our reputation for
high-quality banking solutions and personalized customer service.
Monitor and support day-to-day EFT operations including
troubleshooting issues and ensuring transactions comply with
federal regulations. Liaise between IT and financial departments to
improve EFT processes and implement new technologies. Maintain
up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and compliance
requirements affecting EFT services. Provide technical support and
training to bank staff in the use of EFT software and systems.
Assist in the development and updating of disaster recovery plans
for EFT systems. Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and
security of all electronic transactions. Collaborate with security
teams to enhance the cybersecurity measures for EFT operations.
Strong understanding of EFT systems and processes Proficiency in
using banking software and IT systems Excellent troubleshooting and
problem-solving skills Effective communication and teamwork
abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain strict
adherence to policies and regulations Knowledge of cybersecurity
principles as they relate to financial transactions Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or
similar is preferred but not required Any specific certifications
related to banking technology or financial services are a plus
