The Web Content Specialist works closely with our Team Member Engagement Team and serves as primary intranet content lead. In this role, the Web Content Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the Company intranet (monitoring the site, encouraging team member interaction, and coordinating/publishing content in engaging ways) to positively impacting the Company's goals.

Outcomes and Activities :

  • This position will work from home; occasional planned travel to an office location may be required. However, this position is permitted to work at an office location if requested by the team member.
  • Maintains homepage daily; manages other site pages as needed
  • Creatively displays information for a variety of internal target audiences/teams while complying with Company style guidelines
  • Monitors site analytics, reports on key performance indicators and works with Team Member Engagement Team to strategically influence readership by posting sought-after content
  • Supports the wider Team Member Engagement Team by gathering and analyzing data related to department activities, campaigns, tactics, and programs
  • Works closely with key stakeholders (including Communications, HR, IT, etc.) to understand their needs
  • Coordinates with IT Department and intranet software vendorKnowledge and Skills :
    • Thinks and acts with minimal supervision
    • Interprets information quickly and accurately
    • Works productively in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience juggling multiple priorities, delivering against tight deliverable timelines, and reporting on status of analytics
    • Displays strong attention to detail
    • Identifies creative ways of communicating to and engaging with our team members
    • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Has ability to work a 40-hour work week; overtime as neededRequirements :
      • Minimum 2 years of experience managing intranets
      • Knowledge of publications text/picture layout & design and visual communication best practices
      • College degree or recent equivalent experience in a related fieldPreferred:
        • Experience implementing, designing and/or rebranding company intranet
        • Collaboration with a communications team, especially internal communication
        • High level of comfort with social software and other web-based technologies
