PROLIM (www.prolim.com) is currently seeking a Vehicle Cyber Security Engineer for Location Southfield, MI for one of the top Client. Job Description Responsibilities Responsible for the assessment of products designed in North America to ensure that they meet all company, customer and inherent Cyber Security requirements. Discovers these risks through Penetration testing, specification and code review and interpreting Security Bulletins published by various security organizations such as the FBI, Department of Homeland Security Cyber assessment of ECU products designed in North America to identify potential security risk that might be compromised by hackers. In depth expertise with industry trusted infrastructure and development penetration tools Exercises wide latitude in establishing and implementing internal Cyber Security policies and procedures. Proficiency with various methods of threat modeling and vulnerability assessment including vulnerability scanners, password crackers, network protocol attacks Primary contact for all Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) activity. Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments for both embedded hardware and software systems in addition to company information systems Lead periodic security scans and penetration tests on both embedded hardware and software as well as production systems Work with the IT and engineering teams to install, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, administer, and manage Azure, Office 365, Active Directory, associated operating environments and other enterprise applications Participate in developing and maintaining backup and recovery procedures and processes. Qualifications Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in cybersecurity regulations and compliance standards Documentation skills for reporting on assessment results, vulnerabilities and tracking remediation efforts and resolution. Understanding of hardware, firmware, IoT communication protocols, network, application, API security and popular attacks vectors against IoT devices. Understanding of embedded systems architecture and circuit design? Work experience in embedded device or related experience Embedded experience Experience of security testing Experience of various security testing (negative testing, binary fault injection, fuzz testing etc.) Understanding of hardware, firmware, IoT communication protocols, network, application, API security and popular attacks vectors against IoT devices. Preferred Qualifications MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
