Job DescriptionFederal-Mogul has recently been acquired by Tenneco. The strategic combination of Tenneco's Ride Performance business with Federal-Mogul's Motorparts business will establish a global aftermarket leader with an impressive portfolio of some of the strongest brands in the aftermarket including Monroe--, Walker--, Wagner--, Champion--, Fel-Pro-- and MOOG--. The company's broader aftermarket product coverage, stronger distribution channels, and enhanced channel development will strengthen its position in established and high growth markets (China and India), and drive success through new mobility models and capturing evolving E-commerce opportunities.We are looking for an IT Sales & Commercial Project Manager who will be responsible for successfully delivering projects across the Sales, Commercial and Marketing functions for the DRiV (Global Motorparts and Ride Performance businesses). The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering regional/global projects undertaken by the IT organization in a manner that ensures alignment with the company's strategic objectives. The main objective of the Project Manager is to deliver each project on time, within budget, and within the required functionality and operational specifications. This position is required to work collaboratively with IT stakeholders, business leaders, and external suppliers across regions and business units.The team is ready to act immediately on those candidates who are the best fit for the role. You'll first hear from someone in Talent Acquisition to schedule a phone screen, and then the next step will be a personal interview with our Hiring Manager.   • Assess business needs and requirements, capture functional requirements that align to those needs and will result in a robust solution(s) that meets the business' needs and provides value.
  • Develop project plans, including actionable work breakdown structures, realistic project milestones, critical path analyses, dependencies, risk assessment and management plans, cost/benefit analyses, staffing plans, project timelines, and project budgets.
  • Identify need for 3rd party support, request proposals, secure SOWs, and liaison with vendor and contract management teams to facilitate POs and secure resources.
  • Assign responsibilities to all project resources, manage the day-to-day tasks and activities.
  • Proactively manage projects, anticipating potential roadblocks, identifying solutions in advance, documenting and escalating issues and risks in a timely manner.
  • Ensure project task and milestone completion on-time and within budget.
  • Drive decisions to ensure project success, considering but not limited to requirements, risks, costs/budget, timing, and benefits.
  • As required, determine corrective action, taking into consideration all factors, complexities, perceived relationships, etc. to keep projects on time, within budget, and delivering on all scope.
  • Alert project stakeholders of actions that can impact project schedule, costs, or quality of deliverables and provide necessary information when seeking stakeholder decisions.
  • Act as central point of contact for assigned projects.
  • Ensure adherence to the standard project methodology(s), practices, and tools.
  • Seek ways to accelerate project execution, where practical, while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with project team members, project sponsors, suppliers, peers, and other cross functional teams.
  • Execute role with a continuous improvement mindset, being on the lookout for opportunities to reduce efforts, costs, time without sacrificing quality.
  • Contribute to other operational areas, such as capacity analysis and staffing, budget forecasting and tracking, etc.Required ExperienceEDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or related field.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
