  • Act as an advisor to business leaders and to partner with them to improve the performance and effectiveness of the business and organizational health. Responsibilities in your area will include:
  • Partner with Leaders, Legal and Key Stakeholders to ensure that Performance Management, Promotions and Team Member Relations Investigations are managed following a documented process that is fair and in compliance with all State and Federal Employment laws.
  • Partner with the Leave of Absence team to ensure approved leaves are being administered timely and consistently.
  • Contribute to the business by helping business leaders identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, structures and processes.
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to leaders and team members as it relates to performance management, team member relations matters and culture.
  • Partner with leaders to ensure a strong leadership culture permeates the organization.
  • Diagnose, analyze, problem-solve and find solutions to organizational and people issues.
  • Engage with team members to continuously understand the work environment and their needs and concerns.
  • Maintain knowledge of progressive HR practices, laws and key trends.
  • Manage specific projects as determined by the HR and business leaders.
  • Manage all HR programs and activities for assigned customer groups. Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications or Business or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a HR Generalist or Team Member Relations capacity.
  • Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices . Preferred:
  • SPHR/PHR/SHRM-CP certification.
  • Experience with Workday. Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws related to employment and leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA).
  • Strategic problem solving skills, with the ability to understand, interpret and act on information promptly and effectively.
  • Self-driven, motivated to help, and able to perform with minimal supervision in a team environment.
  • Open and receptive to ongoing feedback aimed at improving performance.
  • Comfortable and skilled in managing conflict and change.
  • Trustworthy with a high level of integrity/confidentiality.
  • Remain compliant with our policies, processes and legal guidelines
  • Ability to sense Company culture and see patterns from individual issues that can be turned into systemic programs.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize work, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
