The Nursing Director of Case Management will work within a large, accomplished acute care hospital that offers a comprehensive list of state-of-the-art medical services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. They see large volumes in their ER (over 70k visits) and the Birth Center. In addition, they have a NICU and have been scored as "high performing” in multiple areas including cancer surgery and heart failure.
The Nursing Director of Case Management will have complete oversight and responsibility of the Case Management Department, in charge of providing the development, vision and administration for the department while supervising staff, ensuring compliance, maintaining quality control standards, and assigning patient caseloads.
This position reports to a VP of Finance, a supervisor known in the system as being a supportive manager. This VP is looking for a creative, innovative thinker to bring a fresh pair of eyes to the department to help improve care coordination and care transitions. The ideal candidate for this role will be a nurse with a strong background in case management/utilization review.
