Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Surgery - General

Position Type: Locum Tenens

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM onsite

Position Details:

Patient Population: Adult Trauma and General Surgery Patients

Setting: Hospital Call

Responsibilities:

Inpatient trauma call coverage overnight
General surgery patient management

Required Procedures:

General Surgical Case Adult
General Surgical Case Trauma
Central Line Insertion
Chest Tube Insertion
Vascular Access Devices

EMR System: Cerner

Support Staff:

Trauma Surgeons on call from home

Days Per Month:

On-Call/Weekends: Weekends Required

Submission Requirements:

Certified Physician Assistant Required
Active Michigan License Required
Local Candidate Required
Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days of presentation) Required
