Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg
Experience required; 2 years preferred. License: Valid RN License
Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS preferred Must-Have: - Must be
available for the first 2 weeks for orientation. - Must be willing
to work with a variety of staff (i.e., RN, LPN, Techs, etc.). -
Preference for candidates with previous charge experience. -
Experience with charting systems preferred. Description: We are
looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team.
This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with a
good mix of medical patients. The nurse will be responsible for
providing care to patients with neurological disorders, orthopedic
fractures, and vascular disorders. The staffing ratio for night
shifts will typically be 1 nurse to 5-6 patients, with the
potential for flexing to 7-8 patients when paired with LPN support.
Float to other Med/Surg units may be required based on the needs of
the facility. Weekend coverage is every other weekend. Key
responsibilities include managing diverse patient needs,
administering medications, and coordinating care. Candidates should
have strong skills in IV management, wound care, and telemetry.
Successful candidates will be adaptable and possess strong critical
thinking abilities. This role offers the opportunity to work with
interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory
