Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A specialized
role for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is available
in a vibrant K-12 educational setting serving the Detroit area.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals committed to supporting
student communication development through both onsite and
teletherapy services. Responsibilities include: Providing speech
and language evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring to
a caseload of approximately 30-50 students. Collaborating with
educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and
implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Delivering
services in alignment with best practices for pediatric populations
within a school environment. Ensuring compliance with state and
federal guidelines for special education. Qualifications and
desired experience: Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language
Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
but not required. Experience with pediatric caseloads in school
settings, including clinical fellowship year (CFY) completion.
Competency in teletherapy delivery is a plus. Ability to manage a
full-time or part-time caseload with flexibility. Location: This
role is based onsite within charter schools in the Detroit area,
providing services throughout the academic year (CSY) starting ASAP
through the end of the school year (EOSY). Benefits include a
