Job Description:
GENERAL SUMMARY: # Physician contracting Manager is responsible
for management and support of physician contracting processes,
procedures, and projects. # # ESSENTIAL DUTIES: # Facilitate the
increased physician contracting project load due to CIA
requirements. One direct report may be designated if need is
determined by department director. # Duties will include
development of workflows in Meditract, development of educational
materials, implementation of projects, project monitoring, weekly
reports, establishing metrics and dashboards, follow up with
stakeholders and report out to leadership on progress. Developing a
strong understanding of physician contract requirements, fair
market value, commercial reasonableness assessment, requirements
under Stark and Anti-kickback will be key to success in this role.
# Administer the physician contracting process in conjunction with
other team managers, including management of contract requests,
preparation of contracts and applicable exhibits, compilation of
supporting documentation including fair market value assessments
(FMV), needs assessment, and position descriptions.# Perform and
document FMV and obtain all required approvals. # This document
represents the major duties, responsibilities, and authorities of

QUALIFICATIONS # To perform this job successfully, an individual

High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience and training in
areas such as legal, auditing, physician contracts or physician
operations. Bachelor#s Degree preferred # Work Experience: Project
management and health care industry experience, financial or
accounting experience preferred. # Certification, Licensure,
Registration: None required. # Other Qualifications: Ability to
work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities; detail
oriented; organized; interested in learning; promotes new ideas and
more efficient processes; Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and
Access required.# Experience with Meditract preferred. Strong
communication, analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to
manage large scale projects. # # # # # # WORKING CONDITIONS: #
Physical Effort: The position requires prolonged periods of sitting
and viewing written and electronic documents. # Work Environment:
Work is performed in a typical office environment with minimal
exposure to hazards
