Minimum Qualifications:

• Experienced Medical leadership and direction with physicians and APPs.
  
• Experience working in managed care setting.
  
• Current knowledge of the physical, mental and social needs of frail older adults is
  
• The knowledge, ability, and experience in working with, and advocating for the elderly and their
  
• Experience working with a collaborative interdisciplinary team.
  
• Comfort working in multicultural health care environment.
  
  Preferred Experience
  
  
  
• 3 to 5 years of Medical Leadership experience overseeing physicians and APPs.
  
• Physician holding MD degree and board certified in Internal Medicine.
  
• Prefer Board Certification in Geriatric Medicine.
  
• 2 – 5 years' experience in Geriatric Medicine.
  
• The ability to lead and work in an interdisciplinary
  
• Strong EQ, Relationship building, organizational and communication skills.
  
• Ability to manage changing priorities in response to program
  
• Knowledge of cultural factors/disparities of care affecting all ethnic groups served by PACE SEMI.
  
• Must meet a standardized set of CMS approved competencies, established by PACE SEMI for the position, before working
  
  Must be legally authorized to practice in the state of Michigan. Licensed physician in the State of Michigan. Experience or advanced degree in geriatrics is required. Current state license, DEA registration and staff privileges at PACE SEMI and contracted hospitals
