Looking for a meaningfulmanagement positionserving familiesand the community?Are you a leader with a coaching mindset who enjoys developing people towards success?Lookingfor a position with advancement potential?Are you seeking excellent benefits?The Associate Location Manager (ALM) is responsible for supporting the operations and resources of Archdiocese of Detroit cemeteries, as directed by management. The ALM role supports Location Managers and serves as a backfill whenever there is a need, assuming all responsibilities and duties of that position. This includes coaching, training, and mentoring team members to excel in their daily activities, with a focus on the sales activities of the Family Service Advisors.ALMs will demonstrate by example, CFCS Core ValuesShare the Journey, Serve with Care, and Make It Happenin all their dealings with families, team members, and internal/external contacts.Reporting to the Director, the Assistant Location Manager willinteract with a broad range of people, such as staff, families, priests, parishioners, community leaders, and vendors/suppliersto deliver a high-quality, high-value family experience served with care.The ALM will work betweenthree cemetery locations - Holy Sepluchre in Southfield,Our Lady of Hope, Brownstownand St. Joseph Cemetery in Monroe.Qualifications and Experience:

  • College degree preferred, and/or 1-2 years in sales management, customer service management, and/or other related management work experience
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
  • Experience managing sales/customer service teams
  • Experience coaching individuals and motivating teams to achieve results Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Knowledge of the Catholic faith, rituals, and traditions
    • Understanding the Order of Christian Funerals
    • Able to conduct oneself with a Family First approach
    • Able to prepare, forecast, and analyze budgets/financial reports
    • Capable of overseeing multiple functional areas
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Possess excellent written and verbal skills
    • Familiar with special event planning and coordination
    • Proficient in the use of computers, software, and technologyPowered by JazzHR
