As part of this journey, we are transforming our systems, capabilities, organization, and processes alongside and in partnership with General Motors.The eCommerce Director will have an integral role in performance client relationship and team management. They will lead eCommerce strategy and optimization of the digital GM experience to drive increased site traffic and online conversions. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams including but not limited to SMEs across the Planning, Analytics, Conversion Rate Optimization, SEO and UX functions to build best-in-class eCommerce experiencesKey Responsibilities
    • Responsible for developing and launching the e-commerce strategy for the website that is focused on improving consumer experience, growth, consumer acquisitions and retention
    • Evaluate best-in-class ecommerce solutions and develop recommendations and estimate the business impact to our client
    • Deliver on most optimal practices and monitor across Amazon, Google, and other eCommerce vendors
    • Understand and deliver on client requirements and expectations
    • Partner with other leads who manage disciplines impacting ecommerce performance
    • Ensure all deliverables including but not limited to SEO and CRO roadmaps and reporting are provided with accuracy and in a timely manner
    • Monitor key performance metrics and provide proactive recommendations to client based on SEO health and statistical significance
    • Drive process innovation and continuous improvementQualifications
      • Over 5 years of ecommerce technology strategy and/or delivery experience
      • Experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams
      • Well-versed in building data-supported, omnichannel commerce experiences across local, web, mobile and social and other retailenabled channels
      • Experience with product mindset and Agile methodologies
      • Understanding of the key components of consumer-focused, SEO, and test and learn technologies preferred
      • Ability to navigate a large organization and influence with strong communication skills
      • Experience with marketing transformation
      • Experience working with and measuring large and complex offline, digital media, and CRM data
      • Data visualization experience with platforms such as Tableau or Power BI a plus
      • Understanding of marketing objectives and how different media channels and selling partners support these objectivesAdditional InformationThe anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000-$146,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
