Summary:Our client is a premier castings supplier looking to add an experienced and professional Senior Account Manager - Castings. The Senior Account Manager - Castings will be responsible for generating revenue by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, closing sales, relationship development, account saturation and recommending new products and services in the iron casting industry. The Senior Account Manager - Castings will support Automotive OEM's and tier accounts. The Senior Account Manager - Castings will be working in the Automotive Division and report to the VP of Sales.The Senior Account Manager - Castings must have 5+ years of related background and experience as an Account Manager or Sales Manager.Senior Account Manager - Castings Requirements:* Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree or MBA preferred* 5 plus years of related background and experience* Proficient in all Microsoft applications - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.* Excellent interpersonal skills, detail oriented, organization and communication skills* High degree of external and internal contact with people at all levels requiring excellent skills in both verbal and written communication* Strong problem solving and analytical skills* Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and discretionSenior Account Manager - Castings Job Description:* Enhance staff accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members* Identify market potential by qualifying accounts and developing relationships* Initiate sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding account requirements* Close sales by building rapport with potential accounts; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing and presenting contracts* Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services, developing new client solution applications* Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from industry* Recommend new products and services by evaluating current product results and identify needs to be filled* Accomplish marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed
