They have clients while also managing--their own team to success. The office is fun, fast-paced, and energetic - apply and come join us!--Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesService DeliveryOversee the processing of documentation creation for the physical movement of cargo and AES filing for export.Problem solve and create solutions to meet customer expectations through process improvement and proactive measures.Maintain an excellent working relationship with internal departments, clients, agents and carriers.--Monitor the effectiveness of these relationships and develop programs/processes to improve them.--Manage team cost within budgeted margin.Ensure availability of the team should urgent client issues arise.Manage the implementation/onboarding of new business and coordinate the set-up of new clients. Gather necessary information to ensure that applications are implemented timely and accurately in order to optimize processing and quality output.--Deliver on the commitments made in implementation plan.Create, audit and review client SOP's; ensure departmental workflow regulatory compliance.Ensure customers complaints are handled in a timely basis and escalated as necessary.Expectations of meeting required deadlines associated with department and customer KPI & SOP.Census & Customs compliance issues resolution experience.Daily workflow assignment and management.Export Audit experience.Systems integration experience, preferred.Manage daily interaction with carriers and forwarders to ensure timely pickup & deliveryLeadershipFacilitate communication about the client with the team.Develop the technical expertise of staff in cargo movement and US Export Regulations.Oversee the planning of or plan staff scheduling around work volumes and vacations.Motivate and coach individuals using a strategic approach toward obtaining individual/team goals and achievement of performance metrics.----------------------------------------------------------------------------*OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED--Knowledge & SkillsPeople management experience.Ideally 5+ years in freight forwarding/Export roles.Customer relationship management software experience.Customer service skills.Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize work.Advanced working knowledge of shipment processing and government regulations.Understanding of basic accounting functions related to shipment processing.Presentation skills.Certified United States Export Compliance Officer (CUSECO) certification preferred.#GD
