About this Position: The purpose of the Manager, Contact Strategy position is to---


  • Define, develop and implement contact strategies


    • Include best time to contact and alternative contact treatments
    • Develop programming for a complex data infrastructure used to execute contact strategy


      • Take into account performance and compliance related features
      • Actively monitor the performance of contact strategies in production


        • Make use of A/B and multivariate testing; including a roadmap for ongoing tests

          Outcomes & Activities:

          • Make use of complex statistical models with the goal of developing strategies that optimize collections and add intrinsic value to Credit Acceptance
          • Develop and produce reports to measure the performance of processes and strategies
          • Perform analysis to solve business problems and drive better decisions
          • Translate high level business goals into the tasks and technical specifications needed to accomplish the goal
          • Remain compliant with our policies, processes and legal guidelines

            Requirements:

            • Bachelor's degree or higher (Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, etc. - preferred)
            • 7+ years experience in analytics within financial services lending
            • 7+ years experience with SAS and SQL
            • Experience in contact management and collections strategies
            • Experience testing system implementations
            • Work onsite at the assigned Credit Acceptance work location

              Preferred:

              • Experience developing/using credit scorecards or collection scores
              • Project management experience
              • Experience in auto lending analytics

                Knowledge and Skills:

                • Apply your project management skills to coordinate complex implementations involving multiple internal and external groups
                • Consider how systems perform and interact with each other
                • Have knowledge of the auto lending industry and related analytical tools
                • Apply analytical skills to solve problems creatively
                • Act promptly and effectively when assigned tasks
                • Be able to extract and manipulate large data sets
                • Communicate complex information to others in a way they can understand
                • Work well with others in a team environment
                • Be proactive and make recommendations as opportunities arise
                • Be self-motivated and able to perform with minimal supervision
