Job Description:
Marathon Petroleum Corporation, a leader in the energy sector

within the Aerospace & Defense industry. We are seeking a highly
skilled and meticulous Flight Technician / Aircraft Maintenance
Technician to uphold our reputation for safety and efficiency in
aircraft operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the
operational readiness and safety compliance of our newly
incorporated fleet of aerospace vehicles, supporting both testing
and operational missions. Perform routine and scheduled aircraft
maintenance and inspections to comply with FAA regulations and
company standards. Troubleshoot and repair aircraft mechanical and
avionic systems. Document maintenance actions and prepare reports
on aircraft status. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement
improvements and modifications to aircraft systems. Participate in
emergency and unscheduled repairs during operations. Ensure the
cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop. Stay updated
on industry practices, technologies, and regulations. Proficiency
in diagnostics and troubleshooting of aircraft systems. Familiarity
with FAA regulations and reporting procedures. Ability to read and
interpret aircraft technical publications, safety rules, and
maintenance manuals. Effective communication skills for interfacing
with pilots, engineers, and other maintenance staff. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k FAA Airframe and
Powerplant (A&P) certification required. FAA Inspection
Authorization (IA) is desirable.
