Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time,
on-site opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language
Pathologist specializing in elementary education, serving students
from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. This position is located
in Lorain, OH, and requires travel to the designated school
facility. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive
speech-language services to a weighted caseload of approximately 80
students. Deliver compensatory services to address gaps and delays
caused by the absence of a Speech-Language Pathologist since
October. Support students in a unique educational setting,
including a pre-kindergarten autism classroom and K-5 autism
classrooms. Utilize expertise in augmentative and alternative
communication (AAC) devices to enhance communication for nonverbal
or minimally verbal students. Collaborate with educators, parents,
and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education
plans (IEPs) and therapeutic interventions tailored to student
needs. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting services to
achieve optimal outcomes. Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language
Pathology. Experience working in school settings, particularly with
young students and autism spectrum disorders. Proficiency with AAC
devices and strategies. Strong organizational and communication
skills to manage a high caseload efficiently. Ability to provide
compassionate and patient-centered care. Location: Lorain, Ohio
(onsite position with travel responsibilities as needed). Benefits
