(LPN) license and minimum 1 years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Provide specialized nursing
support in a K-12 educational setting designed to assist a young
student with specific medical needs. This leave contract requires a
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
to deliver focused one-on-one care at a preschool and childcare
facility. The role is essential for maintaining the health and
safety of the student during school hours. Key Responsibilities: -
Deliver 1:1 nursing support adhering to individualized care plans -
Perform G-tube suctioning and manage tracheostomy (trach) care with
precision and attention - Monitor students health status throughout
half-day sessions - Collaborate with school staff and healthcare
providers as necessary - Maintain compliance with district policies
including obtaining a district badge and completing required
fingerprinting onsite Preferred Qualifications: - Current LPN/LVN
licensure with experience in pediatric nursing preferred - Skilled
in tracheostomy care and G-tube management - Comfortable working in
educational environments with children ages preschool through grade
12 - Ability to manage sensitive nursing tasks, potentially with
little to no toileting required - Reliable and able to commit to
scheduled dates and times Schedule and Location: - Position located
in Pontiac, MI at a preschool and childcare setting - Work hours
are from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (half-day coverage) - Dates needed
include specific days from February through May as outlined Benefit
