Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is
available in Midland, MI, offering an opportunity to work within a
dynamic educational setting serving students from Pre-K through
high school. This role is contract-based, providing specialized
speech and language support to children across various
developmental stages and grade levels. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
ranging from Pre-K to Grade 12. Develop and implement
individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's specific
communicative needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and
support staff to integrate speech therapy goals into classroom
activities. Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic
approaches accordingly. Participate in multidisciplinary team
meetings to contribute expertise on student communication
development. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with
educational and professional regulatory standards. Qualifications
and Desired Experience: Valid state licensure or certification as a
Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with early
childhood and elementary school populations, as well as middle and
high school students. Familiarity with a broad range of speech,
language, and communication disorders commonly seen in school
settings. Ability to work effectively within a school environment
and address the needs of diverse student populations. Strong
communication skills and commitment to collaborative teamwork.
