Job Description:

The Senior Accountant will report to and work closely with the VP of Finance and have high visibility to the leadership team of the organization. We are seeking qualified candidates who have experience either currently in a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager role.ResponsibilitiesPrepare all month-end/year-end close documents along with routine reconciliation of accounts and generate accurate and timely financial statements for presentation to the leadership teamAssist with timely filing of all tax obligations & required reportingManage organizational cash flow ensuring adequate funds are available to meet business needs on an ongoing basisAssist with set up & closure of business locations consisting of state registrations, lease agreements, insurance requirements, general ledger, payroll & other related itemsWork with VP of Finance & Finance Team to develop and implement processes to improve workflow within the department and the organizationCollaborate and provide reporting to other departments as neededMaintain payroll system and process semi-monthly payrollContinual process improvement through automation of transactional activity and maximization of ERP utilizationOther functions as assigned or as business requiresQualificationsThis is an extraordinary opportunity for a leader with five years of accounting and finance experience, ideally beginning in accounting and audit, followed by experience gathering, evaluating, presenting, and reporting financial information to executive teams and external stakeholders.
